MALANG — The Digital Talent Development Center of the Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM), Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi), has officially concluded its program to develop high-quality AI Specialists and AI Practitioners through the 2025 AI Talent Factory (AITF). The conclusion of the program was marked by the fourth workshop held on December 12-13, 2025, at the Faculty of Computer Science, University of Brawijaya, Malang, East Java.

The 4th Workshop focused on deepening the implementation of project-based learning. During the event, participants presented the results of AI models and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) developed in groups over the past four months. Throughout this period, participants received guidance not only from technical tutors but also from expert tutors, industry practitioners, and Indonesian diasporas pursuing careers in the AI field.

The event was attended by the Secretary of BPSDM Komdigi, I Nyoman Adhiarna; Vice Rector I for Academic Affairs of University of Brawijaya, Imam Santoso; Head of the Digital Talent Development Center, Said Mirza Pahlevi; Director of Digital Space Control, Safriansyah Yanwar Rosyadi; Acting Director of Digital Ecosystem Development, Sonny Hendra Sudaryana; Head of BPSDMP Kominfo Surabaya, Bagus Winarko; along with representatives from University of Brawijaya, the Digital Talent Development Center team, and industry partners.

The Head of the Digital Talent Development Center, Said Mirza Pahlevi, delivered the opening remarks for Workshop 4, and the event was officially opened by Vice Rector I, Imam Santoso, who also symbolically presented the SKKNI (Indonesian National Work Proficiency Standards) certificates to representatives of the 2025 AI Talent Factory participants.

The workshop featured presentations by Safriansyah Yanwar Rosyadi on "Negative Content Handling Systems: Jointly Safeguarding the Digital Space" and Sonny Hendra Sudaryana on "AI Talent and the National Digital Ecosystem." Both topics were closely aligned with the use cases developed by the AITF participants during the 2025 program.

Expert Lectures from the industry were also conducted virtually. Alexia Briassouli from the University of Twente presented on "Foundation Models and Distribution Drifts," while Irene from Matsuo Lab discussed "Advanced LLM."

On the second day, all AITF participants presented their AI models and MVPs, which were evaluated by stakeholders in attendance during the presentation session.

In a separate session, Said Mirza Pahlevi and Bagus Winarko held a meeting with officials from several Regional Government Organizations (OPD) of the East Java Provincial Government to follow up on planned collaborations with BPSDM Komdigi for 2026
