The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs, through the Digital Talent Development Center of BPSDM Komdigi, together with strategic partners, has officially launched the 2026 AI Talent Factory (AITF) Program as part of Indonesia’s national AI talent development initiative 🙌🏻
The kick-off program is being conducted in collaboration with Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) and involves 40 selected students. The program adopts a use case–based approach to bridge theoretical understanding and practical implementation through mentoring sessions, workshops, and expert lectures.
In addition, AITF 2026 also opens opportunities for international collaboration with Enterprise Singapore in strengthening AI talent capacity development. This collaboration includes knowledge exchange, learning opportunities from global practitioners, and the exploration of potential internship opportunities for participants.
Substantively, AITF 2026 focuses on developing AI-based solutions to support digital space governance, particularly in detecting disinformation, defamation, and hateful content (DFK), as well as strengthening child protection in the digital space (PP TUNAS).
The program is expected to cultivate adaptive and high-integrity AI talents who can contribute meaningfully to Indonesia’s digital transformation.
