Batch: AITF Komdigi 𝐱 UGM

Back to Batch Program
The AITF x Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) collaboration is an artificial intelligence (AI) talent development program focused on addressing national challenges through a project-based learning approach. The program brings together participants, academics, industry practitioners, and stakeholders to develop AI solutions that are relevant, impactful, and ready for implementation. In its implementation, UGM develops a use case in Public Communication and Media (KPM), namely an AI system designed to assist the government in understanding public sentiment, monitoring and analyzing issues, and generating outputs such as public narratives and briefing notes. The system is also equipped with a chatbot, enabling interactive Q&A with users. During the development of the use case, participants engage in various learning and development activities, including: AI Exploration – self-directed learning to deepen AI knowledge through journals, research, and digital materials. Self-paced Learning – completion of learning modules and assessments through the Komdigi LMS. Brainstorming – intensive discussions among participants, teams, lecturers, technical mentors, and speakers to exchange ideas, evaluate progress, and identify solutions. Use Case Development – implementation of solutions based on project stages and team role distribution. Expert Lecture – public lectures and sharing sessions from experienced AI practitioners and academics. Workshop & Demo Day – a series of three workshops and one Demo Day, where each team presents progress at every phase and receives guidance and feedback from mentors, technical teams, and stakeholders. Through this program, AITF x UGM is expected to produce highly skilled AI talents while delivering tangible solutions to support a safer, healthier, and more competitive digital ecosystem in Indonesia.
